Temple Beth Shalom of Vero Beach

Foundation, Inc.

The Temple Beth Shalom of Vero Beach Foundation, Inc. was approved by the state of Florida on May 16, 2006 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The main purpose for the creation of the foundation was and is to secure the future financial viability and stability of the synagogue.

Each year, the foundation’s board of directors approves monetary distributions to assist with shortfalls in the operational budget of the synagogue and to help finance specific projects that benefit the synagogue’s overall mission to both its membership and the community as a whole. One such project is the Community One Initiative which provides Holocaust Education programs to our local school districts.

The foundation was initially created through the generosity of a small group of donors. Its future potential to support the synagogue is dependent on present gifts and future bequests through the creation of the Arthur & Marian Block Legacy Society (see below).

For more information or directions for making a gift, please contact the foundation’s Board President, Sam Block, at (772) 794-1918.

The Arthur & Marian Block

Legacy Society

The Arthur & Marian Block Legacy Society of the Temple Beth Shalom of Vero Beach Foundation, Inc. was established in June of 2025 to honor donors who entrust the foundation to receive a portion of their estate. Members of the Arthur & Marian Block Legacy Society are comprised of both current or former synagogue members and non-members who have a philanthropic desire to support Jewish culture on the Treasure Coast. They have made planned gifts today that will provide significant benefits to Temple Beth Shalom and associated programs in the future.
