SHABBAT WITH TBS
Friday Night Shabbat Service
Every Friday evening at 7:30 pm we gather to welcome Shabbat as a congregation, simultaneously in person and on Zoom.
Along with our prayers as a community, we celebrate personal simchas with the lighting of our Shabbat candles and acknowledging the sweetness of kiddush.
Monthly we welcome our volunteer choir, the Shalom Singers who bring their ruach (spirit) and koach (strength) to our worship. If you are interested in joining the Shalom Singers (email Cantor Kelly).
SCHEDULE: Every Friday 7:30pm to 9:00pm
UP Center needs supplies
Please help the United Against Poverty of IRC Food Pantry! As a community, TBS will be collecting 6 of the items given on the list of necessities: fruit snacks, soap, razors, large ziploc bags, crackers, and deodorant. Bring them to the office during business hours or with you when you come for Shabbat.
A GLIMPSE OF SHABBAT (coming soon)
Shabbat Morning Service
Twice a month at 9:30am we gather simultaneously in person and on Zoom for an Egalitarian minyan using Siddur Lev Shalem and a Torah service following the triennial reading cycle.
The participatory nature of our service creates an informal and spirited atmosphere, which gives us a true sense of community.
We invite members and non-members to daven with us any Shabbat morning.
SCHEDULE: Typically twice monthly 9:30am to 12:00pm. See Calendar of upcoming services.
Shabbat Morning Outside
We are blessed to live in the Sunshine State. We take advantage of our wonderful weather and beautiful landscape as we enjoy Shabbat outdoors once a month.
We get closer to nature and enjoy our day of rest, reflection, and renewal at 9:30am when we gathering at the shore, on the beach, or in the garden.
SCHEDULE: 9:30am to 12:00pm. See Calendar of upcoming dates and locations.
Tot Shabbat Service
We welcome the youngest members of Temple Beth Shalom and their families to experience a sweet Shabbat.
With prayers, songs, stories, arts and crafts, and a little bit of challah too, everyone should be able to partake in Shabbat.
SCHEDULE: For calendar and times, contact Mindy Lessem Pollack, Education Director.
