2/8 Friday night at our 7:30 Shabbat service meet the Trio as they bring their Sefardic music into our worship.

2/9 Saturday night the Trio presents a concert to share the width and breadth of this thread of Jewish culture. at Temple Beth El Israel in Port St. Lucie

2/10 Sunday morning, our Religious School Families journey to Beit Hayam in Stuart to learn from Trio Sefardi alongside the students of our treasure Coast congregations.

the Temple Beth Shalom Men’s Club will sponsor a presentation by noted author and longtime Vero Beach Resident Kurt Wallach. Kurt will review his two books on the Holocaust, 2016’s “The Killing of the Jews” and the recently published “Murder Beyond Madness”. Opportunities to hear a first-hand account of this pivotal moment in history are increasingly rare; don’t miss this chance.

Vigil/Prayer Service

On Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm, there will be a vigil/prayer service in the Temple for those that lost their lives and for those that were hurt in the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting.

We encourage all our membership try to attend and bring anyone else that is interested. Our entire community must stand together to keep this from happening to any other house of worship.

Wednesday October 3rd at 7pm Tour the Torah for Simchat Torah. With our scrolls unfurled, we have the chance to walk the whole journey of our people, from Genesis to crossing the Jordan. This is an amazing hour for our congregation to see the whole scroll and wind our way through our sacred story.

Shabbat in the Garden 10/6 9:30 am at TBS. a Peek into Pickling.  Pickles and fermented products are central to Jewish food culture and spiritual experience.  Join Rabbi Birnholz for a Shabbat in the garden as we look at some recipes and commentaries, create some pickled treats for ourselves and plant a few veggies for future pickling projects.

Sale days are Sunday and Monday, February 18th (8am-2pm)  and 19th (8am-12pm) in our social hall. 

Set up will begin on February 12th & continue through the 16th. (10am-2pm daily)  We will sort and price as we go and would appreciate having as many volunteers as possible.
