September 2014 Scroll Article

Your Sisterhood board and chairwomen have been busy organizing and preparing for the upcoming year! Everyone should have received their Sisterhood membership renewal information that includes the 2014/2015 calendar of proposed Sisterhood events. Be sure to return your membership form and check to our membership chair, Nancy Marx Erickson. If you do not have email, advise Nancy and the Simply Sisterhood newsletter will be mailed to you; however, email is the most cost efficient method of distribution. Please remember that Sisterhood membership is not a commitment to participate in activities but it IS a way to demonstrate your kind support of Sisterhood’s goals and activities. Sisterhood continues to make Onegs easier by providing a server and challot for every Shabbat that does not have a Bar/Bat Mitzvah. Sisterhood also continues to make significant donations to TBS and the religious school. For those women who choose to be more involved, we look forward to your participation! Please contact me if you would like to be more active.
Our first major event of the year is Sisterhood’s Autumn Tea on Sunday September 14th at 1PM at the lovely home of Jayne Drucker. Join us for the installation of your Sisterhood board officers, refreshments and schmoozing! Membership dues for 2014/2015 must be current in order to attend! Additional information may be found in our Simply Sisterhood newsletter and RSVP is required.
The High Holidays follow and Carol Resnick and her team will be organizing the Break Fast which is Saturday October 4, 2014. This is a huge undertaking! If you can help, (perhaps prepare a kugel) please contact Carol at resnickcf@bellsouth.net.
If you have any suggestions, questions or concerns please let me know.
