First I would like to thank all of the members of the Sisterhood Board for their support and assistance in making this such a successful year.  Each member of the Board contributed time and energy and worked tirelessly at each of their positions and various programs to insure that our membership would have programs that were fun, inspiring, spiritual, educational, or a combination of each of these elements! We thank Anita Weiss for maintaining our Gift Shop, Danna Sonnenberg for handling Hospitality, Rita Bernstein for maintaining our Sisterhood presence on the TBS website, Bobbi Feiertag for sending out Simply Sisterhood and email blasts (and Linda Cooperman the first half of the year), Nancy Marx Erickson for managing our membership renewals, new members and lists; Carol Resnick for her detailed handling of our programs; Bredine Pennington who took care of our cards and notes as Corresponding Secretary; Sue Docktor for her  conscientious attention to the minutes of our board meeting as Recording Secretary; our Treasurer, Susan Coren for the arduous task of maintaining our finances and Joanne Maury, Vice President who made our January Special Teas a delightful reality and who supported me.  There is so much MORE that each of these women has contributed- the list is endless!

I would like to welcome some new members to the board for 2014/2015. Cathy Berkowitz who is taking over programming; Joan Foster as our Web contributor; Janet Levenston who is taking on Simply Sisterhood; Linda Culver who is Corresponding Secretary and Shelley Weltman who is the Vice President! Welcome Ladies!

I would also like to thank our membership who assist us in so many ways! Some women choose to become involved and others join Sisterhood to show their solidarity but can’t be active for various reasons. Each of our members is an important component to our success and our ability to assist TBS and the Religious School. And yes it is that time of the year to join Sisterhood! Look for your membership letter which should arrive about the middle to end of July.  Our first Sisterhood event is September 14th and is the Autumn Tea for members in good standing.

If you are a Sisterhood member and not receiving our newsletter, Simply Sisterhood, please let me know so we can rectify that. Any additional questions, suggestions or concerns may be directed to me .
