President’s Message:
The level of activity surrounding the Rummage Sale and Jewelry Sale is just incredible! Ralph and Lynn Oko and their team have worked all year long acquiring merchandise and promoting this Sisterhood fundraiser. Natalie Feldman and Evelyn Blank handle all jewelry donations and prepare them to sell. We are almost there! This is the Final huge push before the actual Rummage Sale & Jewelry Sale which occurs on Sunday, February 15th and Monday, February 16th. There is an urgent need for volunteers to help sort, organize and price the many treasures that have been acquired over the year. Please consider sharing some of your valuable time! “Teamwork divides the task and multiplies the success.” If you can volunteer any time please call our schedulers: Cathy Berkowitz @ 919 830-3844 or Marlene Allen
@772 584-3507.
Sisterhood’s next event is the Mah Jongg Tournament on March 12th. Even if you don’t play mah jongg, we are in need of volunteers to help. Please
contact Jayne Drucker at jayne6299@aol.com or co-chair Anita Weiss atanitawe@att.net .
Also on March 24 we will hold our 6th Annual Women’s Passover Seder. This is a pot luck event so be sure to RSVP by March 17th to Cindy Goldman @cgold118@yahoo.com or 772 569-3340, or Judith Levy @ hlevy@mtaonline.net . It is imperative to have an accurate count so that the room may be set up appropriately and to insure we have adequate food.
If you have any questions, suggestions or concerns please feel free to direct them to me.

Jewish Film Festival
The next film showing in the series is “Glickman” on March 8th at Temple Beth Shalom. There are refreshments served at 2:00 P.M. and the film begins at 2:30 P.M. followed by a discussion. The cost is only $5 per person and well worth the money! This film is about a gifted Jewish-American who was denied the chance to represent the U.S. at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. He went on to become one of the most revered and influential sportscasters in history, pioneering many of the techniques, phrases and programming innovations that are commonplace today.

“Does G-D Have a Religion?”
Dr. Finkelstein’s talk will focus on human life and divine life that are revealed by the spiritual experiences of the Prophets and Tzaddikum of the Jewish Tradition, and also by the spiritual experiences of the saints of the Christian Tradition. All are welcome.
