Mini-Mahjong Tournaments are the latest rage thanks to innovator Anita Weiss. Anita held Sisterhood’s first tournament in her home and raised over $300.00! Hats off to you Anita! The next tournament will take place on September 11th, at the home of Paulette Liebman. Want to host a mini-tournament in your home or clubhouse? Feel free to call (number below) and I will answer any questions you may have.
It’s hard to believe but the High Holidays are rapidly approaching. Carol Resnick and her hard-working committee are busy preparing for the congregational Break Fast which will take place immediately following Yom Kippur services, September 23rd This is my shofar call to all balabustas to begin baking kugels and other delicacies to be served that day. Contact Carol at firstname.lastname@example.org or 772 388-9220, if you are able to bake or assist in any way. The Break Fast is open to all High Holiday ticket holders but you must RSVP to Trudie at email@example.com or 772 569-4700 to insure we prepare the right amount of food. The Break Fast is sponsored by TBS and your Sisterhood.
Did you receive a plain brown envelope in your mail recently? No, the envelope did not contain an unmentionable…it did contain your Sisterhood membership renewal notice! If you have not yet responded, support your Sisterhood by leaving payment in the Temple office or send it to our Membership Chair, Carol Resnick (Carol is a busy girl). Your paid-up membership is your ticket to our upcoming Autumn Membership Tea!
Speaking of our Autumn Membership Tea, Barbara Ebstein will graciously host the Tea this year, taking place on Sunday, October 4th. Come and connect with old and new Sisterhood friends and enjoy refreshments provided by your Board. Sisterhood officers will be installed that afternoon. RSVP to Danna Sonnenberg, 772 466-5466 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
I’d love to chat with you, so feel free to contact me at 513 739-0521 or email@example.com.
