Cheryl Temkin holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Brandeis University. While pursuing her graduate studies, Cheryl taught Hebrew literature at Brandeis for 6 years. She also studied at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Cheryl has worked at the Israel Ministry of Commerce and Industry in Jerusalem as well as at the Israeli Consulate General in Boston.
Cheryl has spent the past 3 summers studying at the Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem and since 2012 has been a very active volunteer with Women of the Wall.
Currently Cheryl is co-President of Temple Beth Torah Sha’arey Tzedek’s Sisterhood in Tamarac, Florida. Additionally she is the Adult Education co-chair and serves on the synagogue’s Executive Board.
