June 2016 scroll article

It’s June and our students are off for the summer. What a wonderful year it has been! Thank you to all of our Religious School staff and supportive parents who participated in this year’s packed schedule of classes, holiday programs and events. It truly takes a village. On behalf of all of our staff, we thank everyone for the lovely Teacher Appreciation Brunch and gifts. It is an honor to teach your children.
Summertime is a wonderful opportunity to catch up on some reading for pleasure. Our school library contains a number of great titles for your children to read, as well as some great books for you to read to them! Please feel free to stop by and choose a book or two to borrow.
Mazal Tov to Gailyn Lee and her family, as Gailyn is called to the Torah as a Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, June 4. Please join with the Lee family to celebrate this simcha that morning.
When we say “l’hitraot” in Hebrew, it is not a good-bye. Rather it means, “Until we see you again.” To our dear, Cantor Dannah, we say “l’hitraot” and we will miss you! Thank you for the amazing ruach and koach you have shared with us during your time in Vero Beach. We love you! Best of luck in Arizona!
Registration information for the 2016-2017 Religious School year will be coming to you over the summer by email. Please check your in boxes and return your forms promptly to ease the registration process. Thank you.
We wish everyone a safe and adventure-filled summer break.
