The TBS Religious School continues to have much to be thankful for and many people to thank. Our successful Pancake Breakfast would not have happened were it not for the efforts of so many of our parent volunteers. Thank you for getting involved and giving of your time to support our school. So too, for the lovely pizza dinner in the Sukkah that we enjoyed last month. Thank you to all who helped set up, serve and clean up. It truly was a moment of sacred community as we dined together and enjoyed our beautiful Sukkah. Thank you also to those who helped out at our annual Blessing of the Pets. It was a lot of fun to meet and greet all of our four-legged or winged or scaled honorary TBS members! Our collection of pet supplies for contribution to the Humane Society was also most appreciated. The Family Shabbat service was delightful last month and we thank all of our Religious School parents who participated for helping with the Oneg Shabbat. Wonderful things are happening on our TBS campus and we are most grateful.
Carli and Ellie Israel become B’not Mitzvah on November 7 at 9:30am in our sanctuary. Mazal Tov to them and their family! Liam Livingston will be called to the Bimah for a Bar Mitzvah Aliyah on November 14. We congratulate Liam and his family as well. We also offer our wishes for a life of health and happiness to one of our Hebrew teachers, Hannah Nystrom, who will be married this month to James. Mazal Tov to the whole Nystrom family on this wonderful occasion.
On November 20 we will enjoy another Family Shabbat with all of our classes participating. Thank you in advance to those parents who will provide our Oneg Shabbat that night. We welcome everyone to enjoy these Family Shabbat experiences where we highlight some of the exciting activities and projects that our students are doing in Religious School this year. We hope you will join us.
Looking forward to December, we are planning for our annual Shining Lights Hanukah Shabbat on Friday, December 11 and are currently seeking candle sponsors. If you would like to be a Shining Light and support our Religious School, please contact me. We would love to kindle more lights than ever! Mark your calendars, also, for a Family Education Day on Sunday, December 6 when parents are invited to attend Sunday school with their children for a special whole-school program. Again, we are so grateful for our parents and students!
Sunday School meets on November 1, 15 and 22 this month. Hebrew school meets on November 4, 11 and 18.

Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving!
